Reelvana 1.2: 41 clip animations, dark mode, safer Vana

The latest public release gives the editor a larger motion library, makes Reelvana comfortable after dark, simplifies the last step after export, and puts Vana's network choice in your hands.

41 ways to bring a clip in, move it, or take it out

The animation catalogue now has 41 choices. Each move includes a short description in English and Arabic, so you can understand the motion before applying it. Animations can be used for how a clip enters, what it does while it is on screen, or how it leaves.

This is separate from the 22 transitions that sit between clips. A transition controls the join from one clip to the next. A clip animation changes the clip itself. Keeping those ideas separate makes it easier to use motion with a reason instead of stacking effects until the message gets lost.

A practical way to choose motion

• Use an entrance animation to introduce a new point or visual beat.
• Use a loop sparingly when the frame needs energy during a longer sentence.
• Use an exit animation when a section ends without another clip immediately taking over.
• Preview the move with the caption and title layers visible, then check the exported file.

Light, Dark, or Match device

Reelvana now includes a neutral graphite dark theme. You can keep the light appearance, switch to dark, or let the app follow the phone's current setting. The choice is in Settings and applies to the interface, not the colour of the exported video.

That last distinction is useful for editors: changing the app theme does not grade the footage or alter a colour look already applied to a clip.

A clearer finish after export

The screen shown after an export has been rebuilt around two actions: Share and Dismiss. The saved video remains on the phone, and Share opens the system share sheet so you can choose an installed app or another destination yourself.

The exported result is the thing that matters at this point. Reelvana does not upload the video or publish it directly to a social account.

Vana asks before audio leaves the phone

Vana is the editing assistant inside Reelvana. In 1.2, Vana asks once before it sends a spoken command to the cloud for recognition. You can choose to send command audio or keep recognition on the device. If you keep it on device, Vana understands a smaller fixed set of phrasings.

This choice applies to Vana commands. It does not change the core editor, recording, local captions, cleanup, background effects, or export, which continue to run on the phone. It also does not mean every Reelvana feature is offline: optional cloud captions send audio when selected, and AI script writing sends the topic or script text you ask it to process.

Reelvana 1.2 is the current public version on the App Store and Google Play. The core workflow stays the same: write a script, read it from the pace-based teleprompter while recording, clean the take, add captions and titles, edit, then export.
